I'd like to give a big thanks to the Chamber of Commerce. We had our ribbon cutting today. It went very well. There were more people there than I thought there would be. Oh, and the big scissors are awesome. Anyways, there should be an article in one of the upcoming Dickson Herald editions.
It should be something to the effect of:
Dickson County has a new website, www.dicksoncommunity.com, that functions much like an online community center. Founder Sean Stewart envisioned it as a site that would allow Dickson County's citizens to come together socially, empowering members to post articles, commentaries, classified ads, and information about upcoming events. Members can also form groups for shared interests such as businesses, churches, bands, sports teams, etc. Dicksoncommunity.com is also operated by Hope Stewart and Matt Tidwell, who are responsible for editing and public relations, respectively. Sean adds, “It's free to sign up and use the website. We really hope it becomes a valuable resource for Dickson County.”
Not too bad if you ask me. Well thanks again to the Chamber of Commerce, including Jennie Wagner and Patrica Reynolds, and to all that visit my website.
Sean Stewart
