We are at that time of the year when our weekly practice pen has become “weather permitting”. This week because of the colder weather we have decided not to buck on Wednesday but we will run the practice pen on Sunday afternoon, November 2.

I want to thank Chris Hagewood for bringing us some really exciting bulls like Real Deal,Lucifer and Panic.I also want to thank Evan Rasch for bringing us new bulls he is trying out. And thanks to Greg Reynolds for being there to save our riders. He's one solid bullfighter.

We no longer charge admission nor have concessions because zoning informed us we cannot do that nor can we even accept tips or donations; nor can we even award buckles to the riders. Hopefully this will all change but for now we will continue to run the practice pen; and remain in complete compliance with codes. The practice pen has been good for the community;and although we lose money every week we are willing to keep it going because of the riders,the stock contractors and the fans.Its rewarding to see young riders, bullfighters and young bulls develop here.

Thanks to Bobby Joe Stokes for being our announcer .Bobby loves to tease both spectators and participants. He's a real crowd pleaser. Of course thanks to Trey Allen who designed our little arena and who runs the show. If it weren't for Trey,his brother Tye and Wesley Cryer this would not be going on.

Thanks to all the riders who have helped out.We love doing this and we want this to remain a place where people can come and enjoy themselves.So hang in there with us and hopefully things will get better.

Our plans to put up a full scale rodeo arena are on hold for now because of Dickson County codes which only allow non commercial Ag-1 zoned areas to have 4 events a year where admission can be charged and concessions sold. Thanks again to everyone .
